English guided tour round the exhibition

Jan Peknik Kozák, 8smička team member, artist, teacher and native speaker will guide you through the current exhibition Kuna nese nano: The Art of Reading Art. Entry remains as usual 8 CZK. Registration is recommended at info@8smicka.com.

Located in the town of Humpolec in the old textile factory halfway between Prague and Brno we have opened our doors in April last year. The tour will include the story of the idea of the institution itself as well as history of the building and the third exhibition which presents the use of letters, words or sentences in art.

The 8smička art zone offers three big exhibitions a year, these are accompanied by publications, off programs, site specific projects, art courses as well as events in public space. Each visitor experiences the impressionably reconstructed historic building along with its coffee shop, bookshop and unique custom made building module for children suited to play.
